Final resting place opf David Anderson

JoNell, David and Donna took Herb to the hospital in Nacogdoches a lot earlier than we got up. His hip replacement was scheduled for 6 AM.  A little after noon we got started to the hospital.  First we stopped at the Isabell Chapel Cemetery in Mt Enterprise to visit my brother-in-law's, David Anderson, grave.  It had been several years since any of us were there so we had to stop in Mt. Enterprise and ask directions.  The cemetery is well kept but we had to clean moss off the marker to get a decent picture.

Dinner at the Clear Springs
When we arrived at the hospital in Nacogdoches, JoNell and family were just coming out to go to lunch.  We accompanied them and had a great meal at the Clear Springs Restaurant.

After lunch we went for a visit with Herb.  He was awake and alert and had already been walking with the therapist.  We visited until he started nodding off.

Before we left the hospital parking lot I did a lamp post skirt cache.

An easy LPS cache
It was just getting dark when we got back to Garrison.

We had left over corn bread and taco soup for supper.  It had been a long day for JoNell so we retired to the motor home at about 9:00.  A little computer and TV time and we called it a night.
