Monday July 6, 2015 Oceanside, CA

We were around the Coach all morning.  We had our coffee and caught up on computer activities and generally relaxed.

In the afternoon we went to the Carlsbad Inn. We sat around all of the afternoon watching the boys rough house with the boys of two couples who were friends of Dana and Curtis'.  Of all the expensive toys they have the most fun seemed to be dragging each other around trying to gain possession of the rubber tire off one of the chaise lounge wheels.  Brandon was at the activity center playing ping pong with all comers.  For awhile Wyatt had his RC car out. The kids had a great time chasing it around.





Emma and Vanessa skated until security told them that wasn't allowed.  The rest of the time they played quietly at their own private game around the lawn furniture.

Curtis, Todd and Me

Earlier in the day Todd and his family went for a 50 mile bike ride.  They brought two tandem bicycles with them.  Curtis and family had spent time on the beach during the morning.

The sun never really came out and in the later afternoon it got chilly sitting out.  I went into Curtis' unit because I didn't have a jacket.

We ate dinner with Curtis and Dana.  Before leaving to go back to the RV Park we went to Todd's unit to say goodnight.  They were finishing dinner and we had some cantaloupe for dessert.  Wyatt talked us into playing Uno. Todd, Gerri Wyatt and I played four hands while Emma and Jeannette made beads for a craft project.

We were back at the coach by 9:30.  Gerri was in bed shortly after that.  I stayed up and tortured myself trying to watch Amazon Prime.  I finally gave up in the middle of a Star Trek episode.  I was in bed by 11:30.
