Saturday August 1, 2015 Menifee, CA

The front air conditioning unit came on at 7.  We haven't been used to hearing that noise at night or early morning during this trip.

With no one to visit and no plans for the day we just loafed.  We watched some TV and caught up on e-mail and Facebook.  Gerri also caught up on the wash.  She also made contact with her cousin, Marilyn, and we will be seeing her and Bob during the week.  It being the first of the month I took the time to go over and reconcile the credit union and other bank accounts.

Lindenberger Landmarks
In the late afternoon into early evening I went out to find a few nearby geocaches.  I found 6 and didn't find one other.  The first was in a field adjacent to the RV Park.  The field was about 100 acres filled wit the uprooted stumps of row after row of trees.  The last one was named "Lindenberger Landmarks."  The landmarks were several great uprooted stumps.  According to the text of the cache the stumps had been there for decades and are considered local landmarks.

Gerri made tacos for supper.  Some more computer time and reading brought us to bedtime.
