Day 21, Caravan Day -12

For some reason I didn’t sleep well and got up at about 6:30.

Today is the day to take the coach to R’nR RV Service in Liberty Lake, WA for a ten o’clock appointment to get the locking mechanism on the driver’s side slide repaired. We arrived at about nine o’clock and they took the coach in. We had it back about $200 and four hours later. The locking levers work now. I tried them twice before leaving R’nR.

While the motor home was at R’nR we went to Cabela’s and then had lunch at the Cabin Restaurant. The Cabin was in an outlet mall that was about 80% unoccupied.

Back at Blackwell Island the park had quite a few more RVs. Gerri called her aunt Edna and we were invited for dinner. Other family members besides Red and Edna were Red’s son Don and his wife Sandy and their daughter Kendra and 2 yr old granddaughter Emelia.

After supper we visited until after Red’s 9 o’clock bedtime before returning to the RV Park.

  1. Interesting, we spent about 4 days at R'nR while friends were getting their coach batteries replaced. We toured the Buck knife factory in Post Falls while we were there. If you are in the area it is an interesting tour and their gift shop is full of bargains on Buck knives.
