Friday June 3, 2016 Branson, MO

Would you believe it.  We had more rain during the night.  Even a couple of cells that came through later in the day.

We went to the park ticket office and started planning to see the shows that we were interested in.  I went to the office and corrected my check in mistake. When I checked in I paid through Sunday night, leaving Monday.  The itinerary I made was for us to leave on Wednesday.  No problem, just a little more money.

Our entertainment schedule started right away.  At 3:30 we went to see "Moses" at the Sight and Sound Theater.  You are probably familiar with the story of Moses.  This elaborate production dramatizes and sets to music Moses life and struggle to set the Hebrews free and lead them to the promised land.  I generally don't think that religious messages should be delivered through entertainment.  The production didn't vary far from the biblical account and showed Moses as a man with our common failings who ultimately, as we all should, places his trust fully in God.

Our next show was at the Pierce Arrow theater.  This show featured a variety of songs over a two hour period, interspersed with comedic breaks.  Very entertaining.

We got back to the coach at about 10:30.  We got to bed before the serious rain started again.
