Tuesday April 8, 2014 , Kauai, HI

I had set an alarm for 6:30.  I woke up a hour before that waiting for the alarm.  We had scheduled a tour and snorkel trip on the Napali Coast.
The tour was to meet in the terminal at 8:10.  It was quite windy as we approached the harbor and then the dock.  We didn't take time for coffee.  When we got into the terminal and waited for awhile, we were informed that the tour was cancelled because of winds and a small craft warning off the Napali coast.

We reboarded the ship and had breakfast in the Donatello Dining Room.

After breakfast we took a shuttle to a nearby shopping area.  We walked along a nice small beach by the Marriott Hotel.  The hotel was huge and we walked through their botanicals garden.  Before going back to the ship we split an order of fish and chips at Duke's.

Back at the cruise ship terminal we split up.
Gerri went aboard and I took a cab to a cache about a mile away.
This may have been my first cache on Kauai.  The day had gotten cloudier so we both took short naps.  Not only were we up early, we have set back our clocks three hours since we left Los Angeles.

We went for hors d'oeuvres in the Skywalker's Lounge. Today it was fresh guacamole and chips.  We met and talked to another couple from Las Vegas.  Dinner was at our regular time of 7:45.  After dinner I was too tired to enjoy a show.  We returned to our cabin and soon called it a night.
