Sunday August 7, 2016 St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada

Today's blog could be summed up in eight words; It rained and then it rained some more.  Of course I won't stop there.

Gerri talked with her mother on the phone last night.  She is preparing to drive to Flagstaff, AZ for a week stay at her timeshare there.

After coffee and computer time things came together and we were able to tune into the worship services from Oakey Boulevard.  We were not traveling or involved in group activities. Most surprising we had adequate internet and the net cast was working properly.  This was the first opportunity we have had to hear our new minister bring the gospel message. Our congregation is indeed blessed to have found another preacher who can deliver the good news in such a clear and concise manner.  Even though Tyler is young, he has a beard.  I pray that we all live long enough to see it turn gray like Randy's and watch him mature in his service to God.  Of course we haven't lost Randy.  We keep up with him via his blog as he and Sharon travel and continue their service.  We keep them in our prays and ask the same from them.

Tonight the wagon masters served pizza followed by cake and ice cream to celebrate any birthdays or anniversaries members of the group have during the trip.  It was raining pretty heavily so the party didn't last long.  Gerri stayed at the coach and I brought her pizza.

Tomorrow we travel.  We drive to the Ferry Port at Argentia, about 133 km.  The ferry ride is 16-17 hours to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.  It is the about 5 miles to the RV park.
