Friday January 16, 2015 At Sea

We were up at 8:30, the new time. Of course that was because of the time change.  We both had Raisin Bran and yogurt with our coffee this morning.

We got to the Piazza at the end of the vegetable and fruit carving.  Then it was off to the Vista Lounge for an explanation of hypnotism by the performer we saw Wednesday night.

We went to a pampered lady presentation.  I was one of two men there.  I slept through part of the presentation.  I was awake for the presentation on diamonds and gem stone.  Afternoon trivia, ah trivia.  We might as well as slept through this presentation, we really did poorly.

The Elite/Platinum hors d’oeuvres today featured chips and salsa along with the cheeses and vegetables.  The gathering was as poorly attended as we have been accustomed to on this voyage.

After a short rest in the room we went to the Capri Dining Room.  This time we asked for a table with no more than six.  We sat with one couple from eastern Pennsylvania and another from the Crater Lake area in Oregon.  We had a nice conversation around the table during a very good meal.

After dinner we went to the Explorers Lounge and enjoyed a game called “Are You Smarter Than The Crew Members.”  There were three crew members that had to answer the trivia questions, five each as individuals and five as a panel.  The interaction of the crew members made the game hilarious.  And no, we are not smarter.  We did tie the crew members though.

As unlikely as it seemed we were very tired and were in bed by 11.
