Saturday April 23, 2016 Lake Havasu City

I was up at 7:30 but still missed seeing Keith and Alice off.  I finished my coffee and computer chores while Gerri read.

Moais In Havasu?  I didn't find the cache
In the late morning I went out caching.  I found one that Gerri and I couldn't find a few days ago.  I can't imagine that we overlooked it.  I found 6 others and didn't find 2 that I looked for.  All of today's picture's were taken near caches.

Two of the caches were on a point overlooking the lake.  The fast boats reminded me of when we had boats.  I could almost feel the water under me, wind in my face and the sound of 460 cubes roaring behind me at about 65mph. I though of the chorus of Mary Elkin's song "Those Were The Days."  "Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end......"

Stalking a cache

Back at the coach we watched some news and an episode of Pawn Stars and one of Gunsmoke.  I also read for awhile, but we called it at a night at about 10.

Tomorrow we plan to head back to Las Vegas just after church.  We are leaving the coach here at Havasu RV Resort until the 7th when we head to Flagstaff and then points east.
