Wednesday April 20, 2016 Lake Havasu City, AZ

While we had our coffee this morning, I made some more calls for reservations along our trip.  Oh, for the days we could just start out and know we would be able to find a place with room for us to stay.  Now, it seems that even a month or two ahead is too late.

In the afternoon I went out intending to find a few caches in the London Bridge area.  I found two traditional caches and one virtual cache.  The virtual cache was at a lighthouse that is a 1/3rd replica of one on the Great Lakes near where the Edmond Fitzgerald sank, https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCJ3WM_warning-light-on. I tried a 4th one right by the bridge, but someone was sitting in the shade at what appeared to be ground zero.  I didn't hunt that one.

At 4:30 we joined Keith and Alice at another couple's site.  More and more people are leaving, in a couple of weeks the park will be pretty much empty.  Not many snowbirds stay once it starts reaching 100 degrees everyday.  Keith and Alice still plan to leave on Saturday for Menifee.  They are buying a house there and will be selling the RV lot.  There is a 1000 Trails park in Menifee, so we can still visit them either there or on the road, they will be keeping the 5th wheel and traveling during the summer.

For supper we had Salmon with a white sauce, mushrooms and asparagus along with some macaroni salad.  Alice is a great cook.

Back at our coach we put in a little computer time.  I tried to read for awhile, but gave up at about 10 PM.
