As
usual Gerri went to the pool early to get our favorite spot around
the pool.
Frank and Gerri at the new dock in Cabo San Lucas |
I
had my coffee and walked over to the Sheraton lobby. Someone had
told me internet could be picked up there free. Not so, the log in
screen and fees were the same.
Nava with the Caborey in the background |
We
sat near people from the Boston area. We told them about an ice
cream stand, Kimball Farms, that we visited when we were there in
1977. They told us it was still there run by the same family only
now there was a lot more than an ice cream stand. A nine hole golf
course, driving range, miniature golf and a water park plus an area
for weddings.
Neva
won one game of Loteria. We didn't stay at poolside long after
Loteria. At 4:45 we caught a taxi to the Marina in Cabo San Lucas.
We had booked a dinner/sunset cruise that required us to be checked
in at 5:15 for a 6 o'clock departure.
First course of three |
We
cruised around the harbor and had good views of Los Arcos and Lover's
Beach. We had an excellent meal, Gerri had Lobster, Neva Sea Bass and I had Filet Mignon. We were a little disappointed
the
cruise didn't live up to the sunset part. It just got dark.
There was entertainment with performers from both Mexico and
Argentina. An excellent show.Desert, the last course |
We
got back to the dock at about 8:30 and took a taxi back to the
Hacienda Del Mar.
