Moving
day. For Neva it was flying home to Las Vegas. For us it was up the
road a few miles to the Club Regina at the Westin, closer to San Jose
Del Cabo. Neva's shuttle left at 9:20. We hung out at the Hacienda
Del Mar until after playing Loteria. Gerri won one the second game,
so our record wins was me, 2, Gerri, 2 and Neva, 1. I picked up the
rental car at 3 PM and we went to Costco to pick up a few items
before heading north.
We
got checked into the Club Regina at about 5:30 PM. We made
reservations for dinner at 7 at the El Herradero in San Jose and
headed there planning to do a little shopping before eating. We
parked and Gerri went through some shops looking for some large size
napkins suitable for bread or tortilla baskets. No luck so we walked
the couple of more blocks to El Herradero.

Gerri
had the Molcajeta with shrimp and I had one with beef, chicken,
chorriso and bacon. The Molcajetas are served in a lava bowl that
must be 1000 degrees. The food and bowl are still hot long after
being served. It is so hot that you have to start the meal carefully
so as not to burn your mouth.
Back
at the Club Regina we parked the car in valet since all the free
parking was taken.
When
we checked in we got instructions on how to access the internet.
They didn't work. After several attempts, a couple of phone calls
and restarts, I gave up and called it a night. I was able to sign on
with my iPod, but not my computer. I thought that was weird.
