Sunday April 5, 2015 Long Beach, CA

Easter Sunday.

Todd went for a run.  I fixed coffee and we drank it while catching up on computer stuff.

Emma
Jeannette made breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon and cantaloupe.  The kid's plates were Easter themed with a quarter cantaloupe as Christ's empty grave, a cracker as the rolled away stone, a strip of bacon represented the path to the tomb.

Wyatt

Gerri and I went to worship services at the Studebaker Road Church of Christ. Their service was interesting. The English and Spanish congregations meet at the same time in separate auditoriums. There are scripture reading in both English  and Spanish.  The lord's supper is served with prayer in both English and Spanish.  Then separate sermons are delivered in the auditoriums.

Todd and his family went to Easter Services at their church.

Back at the house we relaxed for a while and then Todd, Emma, Wyatt and I walked to the park to play baseball. The park was very crowded with many groups having activities.  I did one cache in the park, it was away from the picnikers.  We got home from the park at 5:45. Todd made a reservation at an Olive Garden in Cypress for 6:30. We all stuffed ourselves with the good food.

Back at the house the kids baked cookies.  We had warm cookies with ice cream.  I thought we were stuffed before

We had a good visit.  Tomorrow we head to the harbor for our cruise.
