Tuesday March 3, 2014 Las Vegas, NV

After having our coffee we got the coach ready to travel.  We are headed home to Las Vegas.

Home away from home
Keith came with a ladder and saw and we trimmed the lower branches of the palm tree at the site.  I didn't want them scraping the side of the coach. The spot we are parked in is a pull in site with a casita and is difficult to maneuver in or out of.  With Gerri guiding me from the front and Keith watching the rear I managed to get out onto the street with no damage.

We had said our goodbyes to Keith and Alice before backing out of the spot.  I had the Jeep hooked up and we were on our way at 11:30.  Not far out of the resort on AZ-95 we were stopped for quite a while for road construction.  We stopped briefly at the rest stop near the Laughlin turn off.  Before reaching Searchlight we had heavy rain for several miles. and it rained on us a couple of more times before we exited I-215 at Rainbow.

After topping off the fuel tanks at Sam's we headed home only to find that the section of Buffalo behind our house was closed.  We had to go west to Durango and back on Hacienda to get to the house.

We got home about 5 PM.  I unloaded the refrigerator and some other items.  The rest will have to wait.  I will probably take the couch back to the Cavagnaro's house on Friday.

Our next trip starts Monday, two weeks at the Hacienda Del Mar in Cabo San Lucas, MX.  We will be flying to that destination.
