We
slept in this morning after a day of travel yesterday. We had coffee on the balcony and read. At 12:30 we went to brunch and the owner’s
update. We all had brunch and then Neva
went to the pool area while Gerri and I went to the owner’s update.
At
5 we went to the owners welcome party.
Today they served chips and dips plus three kinds of tamales, so dinner
was pretty much taken care of. We won a
Mexican blanket in the drawing.

After
the welcome party we went back to our rooms.
We played a game of dominoes. I
won tonight. We had a snack of cheese
and crackers before bedtime.
During
the owner’s update we were told that the resort suffered $17 million in
damages. They still have crews working
on the landscape but the buildings are mostly repaired. We did see a few whales
in the distance during the afternoon.
