Thursday July 30, 2015 Coronado Cays, CA

We sat on the rear deck of the boat and had our coffee with Montyne.  John had gone surfing. We watched boats come and go past the end of the marina.

Imperial Beach Pier
After John got back we decided to go downtown to Imperial Beach to take pictures of the pier and other spots.  The city has different designs of surf boards scattered around town, art work with a map and plaques commemorating the city's surfing history.  The art Gerri took pictures of was designed to show the word "ART" when viewed from a specific spot.

We also drove to a geocache that is billed as the south westerly cache in the lower 48 states.  GCTP7H, Extended View x2; http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCTP7H_extended-view-x2?guid=4397434d-7729-4010-b2fb-ac2f86353f01 Now we have to make trips to Washington, Maine and Florida to cover the other corners.

We had decided to eat an early supper at Phil's BBQ in San Diego: https://philsbbq.net/.  We got there about 3 and were served and seated right away.  At Phil's you order on the way in, are seated and then pick up your food when when it is ready.  It was good food but served on trays with a paper lining, no plates.

Just before we ate I got a call from Cummins Pacific telling me the coach was repaired and ready for pick up.  They agreed to keep it until morning, plugged into 110 volt power.

Back at the boat we watched a movie on DVD.  We watched The Robe starring Richard Burton.  The movie was over two hours long.  Everyone went to bed almost immediately when the movie was over.
