I got the call that our coach was ready while at dinner last night. Cummins Pacific agreed to keep it plugged in for us until we picked it up.
We had coffee with Montyne and John. It was overcast so we sat in the salon. John did some chores around the boat. These included starting the engines and running them until the they were at operating levels. He does this every month. The engines started quickly and ran smoothly.
We said our goodbyes in the parking lot and headed to El Cajon. The stay with Montyne and John had been a pleasant interlude. The Coronado Cays Yacht Club is a beautiful and peaceful setting and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
We paid our bill at Cummins Pacific and got the Jeep hooked up and headed to Menifee. We arrived at the Thousand Trails Wilderness lakes Preserve a little after one. We found a nice pull through site with 50 AMP service. We were set up by 2. It was hot and we rested while the coach cooled down. There used to be a dairy farm on one side of the park and flies were a complaint a few years ago. The flies are gone with the cows. Now two sides of the RV Park are bordered by homes. The word wilderness doesn't apply as much as it once may have.
We decided to have dinner at the cafe in the Family Lodge. Tonight's special was spaghetti and meatballs. It was OK and on the upside we had nothing to cleanup in the kitchen. We were back at the coach by 6. It seemed much later. After we watched a few recorded TV Shows, we called it a night.
