Our afternoon plan was to meet Gerri's cousin, Marilyn Faircloth, and her husband, Bob for a late lunch. Bob and Marilyn live in Menifee. Our plan was to meet them at the Coco's restaurant in Sun City. We set out from the park using Gerri's phone as a GPS.
We didn't realize how warm it was until we left the coach and got into the Jeep. It was in the high 90's. The first turn out of the park seemed to be in the wrong direction from where we wanted to go. We followed it anyway. We went south and then west and got on I-215 going north. Soon we passed the exit to Newport Avenue, which is where we should have come to from the RV park. Another scenic drive thanks to the marvel of the GPS. I think the next exit was the one to go to the restaurant. In spite having taken a longer route we were early. Gerri went to a nearby Dollar store and bought some birthday cards for upcoming events.

We didn't get on the interstate when we drove back to Wilderness Lakes. There is a lot of farmland left in the area. There are also a lot of housing developments displacing the farmland and growing shopping areas along the Interstate.
Back at the coach we were pretty much in for the evening. It was still hot and my leg bothers me if I walk very far. It was a typical evening, Computer, reading and TV and then bed.
