I made coffee and we started drinking it before tuning into the worship service net cast from the Oakey Boulevard Church of Christ. Randy's lesson was based on James 4:13-17. Lessons: Our lives are short and we need to plan our actions with God's purpose for us in mind: To know that we should do good and not do it is a sin. My Grandmother used to preface or conclude announcements of plans with "The Lord willin' and the crick don't rise." I know that is not correct English. BTW, a crick (Creek) is West Virginian for any stream short of a river. In rural West Virginia if a creek rose travel ceased. The idea is the same as in James 4:15; "For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that."
The name of the park may be Wilderness Lakes but the water inside the park is labeled canals They are stocked with catfish and quite a lot of people can be seen fishing. The spots that border the canal are at a premium. There are activities on weekends including a train ride around the park.
We spent the rest of the day around the coach. Gerri's cough has come back and I'm still favoring my right leg. Most of the time was spent reading or watching TV. After enjoying enough of a good thing we went to bed at about 11.
