I am still limping along, favoring my right leg and using a cane. We didn't do much in the morning or early afternoon. We did finish our coffee and get everything caught up on the computer. I also got through to the company installing our solar panels and got some clarification on the design and an update on the progress of the installation progress of the installation.
For dinner we drove up to Dana Point and met Bill and Arlene at Carlos' Mexican Restaurant. http://www.yelp.com/biz/carlos-mexican-restaurant-dana-point. The drive to Dana Point on I-5 was more congested than the last three times we drove there for dinner. Friday evening I guess. Bill and Arlene were already seated. The restaurant is really nice with a large patio out front. Service started good with really delicious chips and salsa. We delayed our food order while we visited. After we did order it was quite a while before our food came out. It wasn't particularly crowded and Bill and Arlene assured us that the service was usually better. Like many Mexican restaurants in this area they don't offer ground beef in their dishes, which disappoints Gerri. On the other hand, they did offer a dish with Nopalitos, a cactus cut into strips. I ordered the Nopalitos dish, it came with carne asada de puerco, rice and beans. It was very good. My favorite restaurant in the area is still Norte in Carlsbad.
We said good bye to Bill and Arlene at the restaurant and then drove back to the RV Park. We finished the evening with reading and some TV.
