The
ship was in port and by the pier when we woke up. We ordered coffee, juice and bran muffins
from room service. We could see the USS Midway from our stateroom, it’s now a
museum.
We
went ashore at about 10. There was a
cache just outside the cruise terminal.
I didn’t find it the last time we were in port here. It was an easy find today for Gerri.
We
had made arrangements to meet Bill and Elaine at Old Town. We took the trolley there and back. We had lunch at the Casa de Reyes, a Mexican
restaurant in Old Town. Before catching
the trolley back downtown we tried a cache near the trolley station. We didn’t find it. We did talk to a park employee who knew where
the cache had been hidden, it was missing.

Back
at our stateroom we took a nap. At 5:30
we joined Bill, Elaine, Ron and Bobbette in the dining room. The fourth couple was there. I don’t remember their names but they are
from the Houston area.

After
dinner we went to the Princess Theater and saw a comedy act, Al Katz. After that we stopped by the piano bar on the
Promenade Deck and listened to Jere Ring.
He had worked with Liberace. As
he played and sang he interacted with the audience. We stayed there about one and a half hour. On other ships we have cruised on this was
called Crooner’s and this was the first singer we have enjoyed since Sammy
Goldstein on our cruise to Australia.
Tonight
we have to set the clocks forward. I
have to set my Vivofit online and don’t remember how. I think it sets automatically from the
internet connection and since we are using the ship internet connection I don’t
know if that time will be the same as Cabo.
Tomorrow
night is our first of two formal nights on this cruise.
