We joined two other couples from our group and had a great breakfast before continuing on to the border. As we approached the border there were reader boards telling us there was a 10 minute wait at the border. 10 minutes turned into more like 45 minutes. All we had to show was our passports and a sack of potatoes that we had bought in Canada confirming the potatoes were from the USA. They were from the US so we didn't have to give them up. We were through with only a minimum of the routine questions. Others of our group didn't fare as well. Some units were more closely inspected and some were held up by a traffic problem.

We arrived at the Fidalgo Bay RV Resort at 2. After setting up we met some other members of the group at Bob and Rebecca's site. Their RV is small so there was plenty of room. There was no shade. Sitting in the sun was made comfortable by the breeze off the bay. We can see a snow covered peak across the water in the distance. The trouble with the view was that there is a large refinery between us and the mountain.
I called DirecTV, we have had no reception since Radium Springs. Not that we had a lot of time for TV. As usual they fixed the problem while I was on hold and denied there was a problem. Anyway, we have TV reception now.
We had our final social at the parks rec center. It was more like a meal than a snack. Art made pineapple upside down cake in his dutch oven and we all had that with ice cream. The social ended at dark. Yes we have darkness now. We were even able to see a sliver of moon. Tomorrow is our final supper with the group. I'm sure it will be a bittersweet occasion.
We were in bed by 10:30.
