When we arrived at the park we were directed to a site. It was a pull in but because of the trees, I ended up having to back into the site behind it and then pull forward.. After setting up we drove to the downtown area and looked at some of the historic buildings. I found a cache under the corner of the RV park office. We stopped at a tidal powered electric generation plant that uses tides from the Bay of Fundy to generate power for 45,000 homes. We drove out a road along the water opposite the town.
We went down a dirt road looking for a cache.

Supper was lasagna with salad, prepared by the wagon masters and served in the small cafe at the park. The room was meant for about half the number of people in our caravan so we were crowded in nice and close. After dinner I drove to a local fire station and found a cache that is part of a series at Nova Scotia fire houses.
Our activity for later in the night was a walking tour of the cemetery in downtown Annapolis Royal. We met for the tour at the fort about 8:45. It was a walking tour done by candle light. By 8:50 it was raining heavily. I sat in the car until the tour started. My back bothered me standing around. It was still raining heavily, by the 3rd stop, my back wouldn't take anymore so I walked back to the Jeep. I listened to a broadcast of the House of Usher on the oldies radio station. A fitting story considering the weather. It was still raining heavily including thunder and lightening when the tour got back and after we arrived back at the RV park.
It was nearly 11 and we didn't stay up long. We have some more tours and lunch scheduled for tomorrow.
