We had more rain during the night. We had our coffee on the road. We left Maumelle Park at 10 AM. To start we went north on I-430 and then for a ways on I-40. Much of the drive was on US-65 and then onto US-76 into Branson.
We stopped once to fill up with diesel. We had quite a bit of rain while driving. We traveled 168 miles, and at Treasure Lake RV Resort at about 2:30. The park doesn't take reservations for RPI or Coast to Coast members. We were told to pick a site in a certain number range in phase 2 or any site in phase 4. Suitable sites were scarce. It was nearly an hour finding a site in phase 4. It started to rain heavily while I parked. I got the power hooked up and the slides out before I realized the site had no sewer. We have been using the holding tanks for 4 days and will be here for six days.
After the rain stopped we moved a couple of rows over to a site that has a sewer connection. It is a handicapped spot with a concrete parking pad.
We went into town to a restaurant that had been recommended by friends from Las Vegas who visited here a week or so ago. At the Red Barn we had a great meal. Gerri had fried chicken livers and I had catfish filet. We took home about half the meals.
Nothing makes an RVer's day like something breaking. Our electronic flush toilet started spraying a steady stream of water when flushing as opposed to filling all around the bowl from under the rim. The park water pressure is strong enough the water splashes out. I turned off the park water. At least the pump pressure allows the water to stay in the bowl.
We were in bed by 10:30 and fell asleep to the sound of falling rain.
