You don't often see a dove in a tree |
In the afternoon we went to the pool area. It has not been hard to get lounges although we have been later getting to the pool. The lack of a large crowd hasn't helped our chances of winning a Loteria game.
This pool is near our building |
Neva and Gerri returned to the room before me. I waited until the area was totally shaded. The surf had come up with about six foot waves with mist blowing off the tops. Of course I forgot that I had the iPad and didn't get pictures. It's a good thing Neva got a picture of the surf.
We sat on the balcony for awhile. There is a building that blocks our view to the west and the sunset. Neva walked over to the other buildings and got some good pictures. Looking west from here there is a row of hills and we can't see the ocean in that direction. We are on the coast of the Sea of Cortez and the sunset is on the Pacific side of the peninsula.
Supper was soft chicken tacos with brussel sprouts on the side. After supper we played our nightly domino game. Neva won this one, The score now stands at Gerri 2, Neva and I one each.
Reading finished out the evening. We haven't turned on the TV yet. TV programming has always been strange here. We may check it out later,
