Sunday March 22, 2015 Caoo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Goodbye pool, goodbye beach
I was awakened earlier than usual by furniture movers upstair and people's voices carrying in from outside.  For the life of me I don't understand why the furniture is moved around so much.  It also seems against all odds, but we always seem to be down stairs from people who feel compelled to move it.

Vendors still sell Palo Fierro carvings
Goodbye whale bones
We started our coffee and got a little reading done before time to worship.  It has been nice having internet during our stay this year. We have been able to worship with the congregation at Oakey Boulevard via the netcast both Sundays we have been here. Randy's lesson was on how work fits into God's plan, as does generosity.  He also explained that we each have to work out our own salvation.

We got to the pool area at about 1 and quickly found three lounges near the pool.  Neva won one Loteria game.  I stayed by the pool after the ladies left and read.
Goodbye landscaping

Gerri made a casserole using some leftover chicken, tortillas, chips and cheese.  We had tomatoes and avocados with lime juice on the side.  That used up most of the things we had bought.  We are leaving behind a couple of unopened boxes of crackers, an unopened tube of Pringles and an unopened package of flour tortillas.  I'm not clear what happens to things we leave but I'm sure it doesn't go to waste.

We all struggled through the evening domino game.  I won.  The score ends at Neva seven games, me four and Gerri three.

Our shuttle leaves for the airport at 9:20 in the morning so we have to get most of the packing done tonight.  That didn't leave much time for reading before bedtime.
