This was a lazy morning after the activities of the weekend. As usual recently the morning was overcast. We had coffee and caught up on e-mail and computer stuff. I located a park in San Marcos that puts us closer to Kyle. I called and made reservations there to arrive on Friday and depart on Monday. The park is also closer to Austin. That is important because our Grandson, Sean, was taken from Reno to a treatment center in Austin. If we are able to visit with him so soon after his admission we may stay a few more days. We still plan to be back in Las Vegas in time to vote. Since the way we travel it will take 4-5 days to drive the 1320 miles, we need to leave San Marcos by the first or second of November.

In the early afternoon I drove to a Quest office in Bulverde for a blood draw. I'm trying to get and keep my INR in the 2-3 range to avoid the problems I've had the last couple of weeks.

In the late afternoon we drove into San Antonio to visit our friends Ken and Sylvia Harwood. We met them at an RV Park in Indiana four years ago and hit it off well. We are in touch with them and visit as often as we can. We have visited with them here in Texas, Minnesota and in Oregon during our travels. We had a great visit and meal with them. We tried to watch the debate but visiting seemed more important and less aggravating. They recorded the debate and plan to watch it later. We will just listen to all the interpretations later.

We got back to Spring Branch at about 10:30 and I called it a night not long after that.
