Today is moving day. We didn't get too excited about it since we only plan to drive to Spring Branch. It's about 65 miles. We are a little disappointed about the delay in seeing the kids in Kyle, but we will remedy that later.

As the crow flies from Austin to Spring Branch

All I had to do outside was unhook the utility connections; I never unhooked the Jeep while we were at the La Hacienda.
When we had everything done except the slides, Carl and Joyce came over to say goodbye. It was muggy and warm out so we had to start the generator to run the air conditioner. Our route today was south on Ranch Road 620 to Texas SR-71east to US-290 and west to US-281t and south to the RV Park. We traveled about 69 miles and with signal lights it took just under 2 hours.
After setting up Gerri called and left a message for our friend Ann Conner. I also called Ken Harwood in San Antonio. We will visit him and Sylvia when we move to Bulverde.
We didn't do much in the afternoon. Gerri did her computer things and I iced down my leg.
Supper was leftovers enhanced by eggs and cheese.
We went to bed after some TV time.
