Last post from Wilmington, OH. Tomorrow we head for Charleston, WV via Huntington to avoid the narrow state road through northern WV. It’s about 230 miles going that way but narrow roads make Gerri nervous and make me worse than nervous.
This was another lazy day. We did go to Waynesville for an early supper at an Amish style restaurant, Der Dutchman. Waynesville isn’t your typical turn of the century small Midwest town, it’s older than that. Later we drove into Wilmington for a chocolate dipped cone at the DQ, but it was closed. The DQ, not Wilmington. We passed another closed restaurant with a sign out front, “Waiting For The Bailout.”
