There was rain and thunder most of the night.  At 7:00 I was through sleeping.  I payed a little attention to some of the lightning and counted seconds until the thunder.  Most of it was 3-10 seconds apart. I read that the sound of thunder travels a mile in about 5 seconds.  That formula means this lightning was close by.

The storm abated at 10 and we stayed with our plan to go to the Marblehead Lighthouse, tour around the area and have lunch at the Moose Lodge in Port Clinton.

Marblehead Lighthouse

At the lighthouse we learned lot about Lake Erie, and took pictures.  Even after the rain it was hot and humid.

We stoped at Cheeshaven and had samples of cheese.  Besides cheese they have a complete Deli.  Glenna found some chocolate.

After driving around the shoreline we stoped in Port Clinton for a late lunch at the Moose Lodge.  I had Walleye and Glenna and Gerri had Perch.  Lake Erie is known for both, it is the largest Walleye fishery in the world.  Both Perch and Walleye are mild white fish.  Perch are small so there were several fillets on each order.  We now have more leftovers.

A stop at Sam's club for supplies and diesel for Carl's truck finished the afternoon.  Back at Willow Bend we set 7:30 as time for more LRC.  Another storm front came through and we had quite a bit more rain.Carl was the big winner tonight.

No that's not Sharlee, it's Zoie, Carl and Joyce's dog

We haven't seen anyone from management at the RV Park so we left money with Carl to pay for our two night stay.
